Jesse Locks (TEDx Licensee/Executive Producer)

Jesse Locks has worked in independent music and publishing for over 15 years, most notably at the Seattle Weekly and for the trailblazing and critically acclaimed Arthur Magazine. She has also worked as a marketing and digital media consultant for clients such as Drill Team Media, Tylenol, Toyota, Lionsgate, KVMR, KZFR, Celtic Festival, California WorldFest, Nevada County Arts, SYRCL’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival, Miners Foundry Cultural Center, and Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. Her writing has been featured in Thrasher Magazine, Heckler Magazine, Surfer Girl Magazine, Venus Zine, Alternative Press, The Union and ESPN.com. She is the co-founder of the award-winning radio program See Jane Do and the annual Passion Into Action Women’s California.  She is the Executive Producer of TEDxGrassValley and the Festival Director of the award-winning Nevada City Film Festival.  In 2011, she was named one of the top 25 “New Creatives” of Northern California by the Sacramento News & Review.  In 2012, she was also named one of 50 “Emerging Sages” by the Center for Non-Profit Leadership and was accepted to the prestigious National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture Leadership Institute.  She holds a BA in Literature and Journalism from UC Santa Cruz.

Juliet is an author and face-to-face communication specialist. Her coaching and consulting work focuses mainly on high-stakes leadership communication, pitching, presenting and negotiating. Juliet has also had two books published – The Art of Persuasion (Hodder Mobius, 2004) and her most recent book Nine Ways to Walk Around A Boulder (Kyle Cathie, 2008). She works with business leaders and managers, entrepreneurs, politicians, academics, scientists, sportsmen and women, entertainers and public figures in organizations around the world as well as many individuals from all walks of life who are facing a make or break moment in their personal or business lives and when communicating effectively is critical.

Robin Parisse (Executive Board)

Robin Parisse, Marketing & Business Development Consultant brings over 25 years of cross-industry experience to creatively solve business challenges and deliver options. Robin finds realistic ways to implement strategies & tactics, simplify and align resources to positively impact teams, processes, companies and organizations.  She has provided guidance for the development of sustainable business models and supplied tactical know how to help companies and individuals align resources to better meet business demands.  Her experience spans from hardware and software technology to media & entertainment, consumer products, fashion, retail, cycling & outdoor. Previously Robin has worked for Telestream, Pacific Telesis, and Black & Decker. She holds a BA in Economics from UCLA.
